Marcato is a hallmark of Italian pasta‑making excellence since 1930, when Otello Marcato began crafting his first manual pasta machines in a small workshop in Campodarsego, near Padua, and selling them by bike to neighbors.

The company’s Atlas machine, introduced in 1965, became an international icon of Made in Italy design and helped spread the joy of homemade pasta across homes in more than 80 countries.

Today, Marcato still manufactures every component in Italy with a commitment to craftsmanship and quality, producing up to 2,500 pasta machines a day and thousands of rollers every month, while embracing sustainable practices like circularity in production.

Marcato’s machines and accessories continue to keep the tradition of authentic Italian pasta alive — marrying historic craftsmanship with modern innovation for home cooks and chefs alike.
